• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

Trouble installing language pack and templates

I've downloaded the LocPack_pt and tried to install it, but it keep giving me a failure error. The same is tru for the Template Package that I tried to install.

There is not enough information to give you a sufficient advice. Could you provide us with additional details? You can find them in Windows Event Log:
1. Open Windows Run dialog (press 'Start' button on desktop, then choose 'Run...' menu item; or press 'windows+R').
2. In run dialog enter 'eventvwr' (without quotes) and press enter. 3. You'll see 'Event Viewer' window. Choose 'Application', find log entries from SiteBuilder SDK installer and post it here please.

Event Viewer Information on Error

Product: SWsoft SiteBuilder 3.2.1 for Windows pt Localization Pack -- 1: An error occured while updating SiteBuilder database. Installation is not complete.

Product: SWsoft SiteBuilder for Windows Official1 Template Pack -- 1: Something weird happenned

Huh, SDK installers are pretty silent in Event Log. As far as I know you could try to find your installation error messages in specific SiteBuilder log file:
1. Find '_logs' folder in SiteBuilder installation directory.
2. Find there 'UpdateTemplatesConsole.exe.log' file. It should contains required error message.
If you post it here, I'll try to solve your problem.

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection.

This message says that you have problems with connection string to SiteBuilder database.
You can check it in config file:
1. Find directory 'Utils' in installation directory.
2. Find there 'UpdateTemplatesConsole.exe.config' file.
3. Check what value has connection string with name 'WSBConnection'. It has to be valid connection string to SiteBuilder database.
