Issue unable to add component PLESK-PHP8.2.

Hi Team,

I have a query regarding PLESK-PHP8.2.

I have one server currently running with plesk version on 18.0.52 , I am unable to install the plesk-php8.2 component in it. getting below error when i try to perform the

plesk installer add --components php8.2

ERROR: No products are installed yet. Use the 'install' command to install one first.
exit status 1

When i tried to list the REPO of plesk using the pleskinstaller i could see the available repo from PLESK_18_0_55

Can i use that one and install the plesk php8.2 to that particular server ?

plesk-installer list PLESK_18_0_55 --components ==> Command i am able to list the plesk php8.2

php8.2 [up2date] - PHP 8.2
php8.1 [install] - PHP 8.1
php8.0 [up2date] - PHP 8.0 (outdated)
php7.4 [up2date] - PHP 7.4 (outdated)
php7.3 [install] - PHP 7.3 (outdated)
php7.2 [install] - PHP 7.2 (outdated)
php7.1 [install] - PHP 7.1 (outdated)
php7.0 [install] - PHP 7.0 (outdated)
php5.6 [install] - PHP 5.6 (outdated)

My question is can i use the REPO of PLESK_18_0_55 and install only the " php8.2 [up2date] - PHP 8.2" in the server currently running with plesk version of 18.0.52 ? with the below command ?

But when i tried to use the command to install it "plesk installer install PLESK_18_0_55 --components php8.2" I am getting below error

ERROR: Version 18.0.52 of the product 'plesk' is already installed. Use the 'update' command to update it or the 'add' command to install additional components.
exit status 1

And its circling back . Kindly advise how to fix this and install the plesk-php8.2

Hello,

It will not work this way, installing components from other versions repo while sitting on the old version. You need to update Plesk to the latest version and then install PHP 8.2

If, for some reason, you would like to continue using unsupported version 18.0.52, you can install PHP from 3rd-party repos and register it in Plesk as a custom PHP
