Plesk detects KVM Processor as Physical Processor in Windows

Neelesh Gurjar

New Pleskian
Hi,
I have setup Windows Server 2008 VM on KVM machine and installed Plesk 10.0 on it.
It is not allowing me to register Plesk lic on VM. It says this License is for Virtual machine and not for physical machine.
When I check in server information, it shows Physical processor INTELxxxxx and not "Common KVM processor-Intelxxxx" I also checked with plesk\admin\bin\sysinfo.exe, it throws same information.
I have two more VMs on same hardware node, however in that simillar Plesk lic works well.

How can I troubleshoot this issue?

Regards
Neelesh Gurjar

It is software bug, and fixed in Plesk 11 or 12 (don't remember, sorry).
I can only recommend you to upgrade your Plesk installation.
