i just found out that a user must have inadvertently deleted his site about a month ago. when i look at the log of the backup i made on 8/18, i see this:

...johnw
......user sites
.........livebythe3
......user settings
......user hosts
......user site families
......user modules settings

which to me implies that the site was in the database on 8/18. also, the timestamp of the content is 8/18 as well.

i tried this:

./sbrestore site --name=livebythe3 --with-site-content --parent-name=johnw --compress < /root/sitebuilder_backup/2010-08-18.compressed

and got:

Processing "site"...
.........Referrals Unlimited
.........nicoledayspa
.........sandbroofing
Done

no mention of livebythe3.

i do backups like so: sbbackup all --compress --log=......

so the site content SHOULD be there?????

can someone tell me what i'm doing incorrectly?
