Question start Tomcat

sinedd1

New Pleskian
Hello everyone,
I study tomcat and decided to try trying to run servlets remotely. Faced the problem of placing the project on the server. Could you answer my questions?
I only managed to run the index.jsp . Servlets are not looking. I understand that they should already be in compiled form? Or can they be inserted with classes with the extension .java in the default folder scr? Wouldn’t it be more convenient to form a .war file and run tomcat from this file?

Greetings,
Mark

Support for Apache Tomcat is dropped in Plesk Onyx 17.8. In previous Plesk versions (17.5 and lower), it will be supported until reaching End-of-Life according to the Plesk Lifecycle Policy.

To have Apache Tomcat supported, do not perform the upgrade to Plesk Onyx 17.8 or Plesk Obsidian.
