Issue Changing user name breaks php-fpm how to report a bug?

Gromett

New Pleskian
I manage multiple plesk servers for multiple clients and this is the first time I have come across this one.

The client changed the username in the "System user's credentials" section of the hosting settings.

This then broke the php-fpm on restart with this error message.
Code:
Error: phpinimng failed: Configuration test '['/opt/plesk/php/8.2/sbin/php-fpm', '--test']' failed with code 78, and message:
[08-Feb-2024 17:53:47] ERROR: [pool xxxxxxxxx] cannot get uid for user 'old_user_name_here'
[08-Feb-2024 17:53:47] ERROR: FPM initilization failed

I tried the
plesk repair web domain-name.com

This didn't fix it.

To fix it I changed it to FastCGI application using Apache and then back to the original setting.

I usually advise my clients never to change usernames, but this client doesn't always listen.

Other possibly pertinent details.
Server is Debian 12.4
plesk: 18.0.58 Update #2

switching to FastCGI application and back might have reset the configuration. Advising clients against changing usernames is wise to prevent such complications.
