On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
Hi @Bitpalast
I've never previously configured "localhost" in WordPress SMTP settings. Instead of writing "mail.mydomain1.com" in the SMTP server settings, I'm trying to write "localhost". I'm not sure if this setting works.
I can only guess that when "localhost" is entered, it might go to...
Hi @Harun ,
Let me add to @Bitpalast 's suggestion: I think it would be more logical to start with simple solutions and then move on to more complex ones.
1. Is the SMTP service active?
2. Is your email password correct? You can try resetting the password for the relevant email account via the...
Hi Harun
There's probably an error in the SMTP settings I'm using in WordPress. Install the "WP MAIL SMTP" plugin in WordPress and try these settings under the "Other SMTP" option:
mail.mydomain1.com
Port: 465/SSL
Auto SSL/TLS Option: Off
These options are active for some of our clients.
Have...
Hi @Bossman
We generally perform Plesk and package updates manually when providing services to our customers.
There are several reasons for this:
1. Plesk version updates may or may not be stable. Because Plesk uses a large number of application packages, it takes some time for the latest...
Hi @PalmtreeRoundabout
It Works!
Thank you so much for sharing your command line. I was on vacation and needed to reboot and repair my system. Thank you so much.
Hi @pwouda
A similar situation occurs with me via Cloudflare IP addresses. I think there is an indexing and when I investigated the reason, I could not figure it out yet.
The incoming requests seem to be made by bots. Although it increases the server load, bots come at a certain time and then...
Hi
I have a question for you. When will the PPPM-14437 error be fixed? Is there any planning on this issue on the Plesk side?
We kindly request your support on the issue...
Hi,
Thanks for your all feedback. I did some research on the unattended-upgrades topic mentioned by @Sebahat.hadzhi and saw that it can be disabled without uninstalling the service and applied the relevant commands. (You are responsible for the actions related to the command.)
sudo systemctl...
Hi @learning_curve
Thank you for your feedback.
We have full root permissions in both cases for Hostinger VPS and Contabo VPS. As you did, our updates are disabled from Plesk.
The reason I asked this question is that I saw that PHP and Mariadb update packages came in the Plesk panel 1-2 days...
Now I looked at the VPS system in Contabo and there is a similar problem there. Could it be that Plesk 18.0.68 version cannot fully intervene in the package update settings in Ubuntu 24? Or have you received any notification regarding this issue before? @Sebahat.hadzhi
Hi
We using Plesk version 18.0.68 on Ubuntu 24. Plesk and package automatic updates are disabled. However, when I logged into the panel today, I saw that the system packages were automatically updated. Does anyone have any information on this?
Additionally, the system is running on Hostinger...
Hi ILucas,
I checked your domain name server. I saw that your DNS server is working on CloudFlare. However, it seems that DNS records are not entered in CloudFlare services. For example, A Record: 187.57.xx.xx. You need to enter your server's IP information in this A record.
Let me tell you a...
Hi, thank you for the feedback. My mistake, actually I may have expressed it wrong. Actually, what I want to ask is, did you encounter any errors after updating the Almalinux kernel?
For example: There is currently a dedicated server running Almalinux 8.8 operating system and Plesk 18.0.59. We...
Hi,
Our current server uses Plesk Obsidian. When looking at the kernel version from the SSH command, Almalinux is 8.8 and can be updated to new kernel versions (Present: 8.9 - Future: 8.10). I think version 8.10 will also cover the recently released SSH vulnerability.
I want to ask you:
-Did...
