This was because I tried a different path (file permissions). I changed it back to the original path and redownloaded the file. Didn't work. I uninstalled PHP 7.1 and reinstalled it, and now (for some reason) it seems to work. Will have to do some more testing, it looks like it's working, though,

I just reinstalled my plesk and had todays issue with the LE encryption - dev fixed it and it worked without cURL SSL verification. But now I'm trying to get my Laravel apps back up and running again, using cURL. I can't connect to any SSL-secured URL because of this error cURL error 77: error...

Has been fixed by the dev just minutes ago - can be closed. LE Extension 2.0.1 fixes the issue.
