If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
Hello. Here are my server specs:
PU AuthenticAMD, Quad-Core AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 1356
Version Parallels Plesk Panel v11.0.9_build110120608.16 os_CentOS 6
OS CentOS 6.2 (Final)
Key number PLSK.01963475.0008
Every 12 hours or so, my dedicated server crashes. I am a novice and...
Many, many thanks to you. One last question if I may: there are probably several dozen IP ranges (i.e., of the XX.0.0.0/8 variety) that I want to block. At what point do you think it becomes a burden at the firewall, in terms of resources? Are there country codes that are available? Again...

After Update #41 was installed automatically, my websites are not very responsive -- they sometimes hang for several minutes if I try to visit a page -- and my Plesk control panel functions move like molasses. Once in a while things speed up, but before this latest update my sites and the Plesk...
I am running drupal, and because I can run dozens of websites off of one codebase installation, I am able to put a single zbblock install in the root and have it work for all sites that depend on that single codebase.
Not sure if other CMS scripts work the same way.
Another Solution that Worked For Me - Block Fake Google Bots
NOTE: I am using Plesk 10.4
I took my CPU usage down from 80% - 140% (almost all the time) simply by blocking fake google bots and banning hostile spambots. These entities play havoc with system performance if they are not...
Thank you!
I have the identical problem and have been tearing my hair out over this. Can you please tell me precisely how you made these changes that you describe? I mean step-by-step instructions. I am on my own, and am a writer by profession, with only the most rudimentary understanding...
