My solution was to get rid of plesk and go back to cpanel. This looked like a nice panel but the bugs are ridiculous and caused me too many customer outages and the support is like a fan - sucks one way and blows the other.

Hello, I have a need for MySQLi database drivers on some of my client sites. I have a lot of Joomla customers and some of the extensions require MySQLi. Is there a way to enable it within Plesk, or is it ok to just install it from the server shell?
