If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
I agree completely with this, PPA couls easily do it, Hsphere could easily do it surely Plesk with their resources could also manage to have one CP server have the ability to manage two separate service plans for Windows and Linux?
All they need to use is central DNS and allow the Windows pool...
We have moved through several Parallels Shared Hosting platforms over the years, H-Sphere, Plesk Automation, and recently worked with Operations Automation, all of them provided a centralised management server which the client logged in through and all mail/DNS/Hosting functions were managed...
Hi Anthony
In my opinion, few will migrate any customers until centralised mail and DNS are implemented so it probably goes without saying that ability to migrate Resellers is a must but will not be pertinent until the former two features are already implemented.
(but that is just my opinion).
Hi
We've set up a demo installation of Plesk Multiserver to eventually replace our PPA platform but after creating our first customer and logging in to the CP, it immediately redirects the pageto the actual service node they are deployed on. This is NOT how we expected things to work and it is...
How about having the panel listen on both 443 and 8443?
Then customers could easily login via plain old HTTPS but the server nodes can all communicate as normal over :8443
It would be nice to to have this for security reasons too so we could firewall off :8443 to just internal servers and only...
What happens if we decide to migrate from Plesk Automation to MultiServer and all our customers mail ends up on one node.
When the centralised mail server function becomes available down the line will we be able to push all our customers mail to this new mail server from the local node?
This WILL be a deal breaker for a lot of people. What is the point of a Multi server deployment if you can't support both Windows and Linux hosting customers?
To require a separate management node + DNS servers + Mail servers all just for Windows hosting is just not going to make sense either...
Port 5224 is definitely not firewalled and running the following from the command line gets a response:
curl https://id-00.kaid.swsoft.com:5224/
curl: (60) Peer certificate cannot be authenticated with known CA certificates

Ok, now feom a Plesk VPS when I try to run the following:
./license -i A00800-xxxxx-yyyyy-zzzzz
I get this error after about 15 minutes:
Curl failed: Timeout was reached
Unable to connect to license server https://id-00.kaid.swsoft.com:5224/.
cURL error description: Failed sending data to the...
I did this on several Plesk 12 servers and there is nothing in the output, it just hangs for about 10 minutes and then finishes with no feedback and the license still doesn't update.
We are also seeing a similar issue on our Plesk Automation CP now aswell when trying to update the license...
We have about 8 VPS servers that are recently failing to install or update their license keys.
When we try to update the key it hangs for about 15 minutes and then fails with 504 gateway timeout.
We can ping ka.odin.com and it resolves to the correct ips etc. from each server.
Reboots don't...
Ok so viewing the logs i'm seeing this error
Starting sw-cp-serverd: nginx: [warn] conflicting server name "" on 0.0.0.0:8443, ignored
I can access the CP through port 8880 just fine however.
