The APS Catalog has been deprecated and removed from all Plesk Obsidian versions. Applications already installed from the APS Catalog will continue working. However, Plesk will no longer provide support for APS applications.
Please be aware: with the Plesk Obsidian 18.0.78 release, the support for the ngx_pagespeed.so module will be deprecated and removed from the sw-nginx package.
I think your workaround is good for most people. But it's problem for services which can't be offline for a few seconds every night.
I just disabled mod_security as I'm using Cloudflare WAF anyway. Of course this is much more a workaround and not a solution.

It does not solve the crash on reload - it works around the crash by not using the problematic reload command.
Sure: This somehow solves the problem. It does not happen anymore. But the behavior is not the same.
Using "restart" instead of "reload" causes the server to be unavailable/down for a short time. This is not acceptable for many services. I also see this as a workaround and not solved (Although this might have to be fixed in Debian or somewhere else outside of Plesk scope).
