It has nothing to do with mysql. I've looked at all files mentioned in the stack trace... there where no trace of a mysql error. Therefore it is irrelevant. What bothers me the most is that I didn't find the point where it throws the "-6". None of the scripts defines "-6" as an error. So...it is...

we have the same problem with our server.
The backup fails: pmm utility 'PMMCli' raised an exception. Error code is: -6
In addition to that in the session-path=/opt/psa/PMM/sessions/2016-04-18-030720.20 is a file: .getsize.stderr
with the content:
