Have fixed the issue by enabling the permalinks in the WP administration (settings > permalinks). Didn;t know this settings affect the working of slugs.

Hi! I installed Wordpress through the wordpress toolkit on a subdomain, staging.domain.com. Now any slugs will result in a 404 page when using an empty .htaccess. When I use the default .htaccess (see below) the slug will open index.php. If i visit the page by: the correct page is shown...
