  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

    Another alternative is HestiaCP if you need email. I haven't tested it personally, but many people suggested it in my Reddit post.

    This move was expected..Both Plesk and cPanel are now majority owned by the same investment company, Oakley Capitals. I found a solution for those interested in a free panel, CloudPanel ..can be easily installed in DO.

    I'm disappointed that SE is being discontinued. I only manage one domain, so paying significantly more per month for it wouldn't make sense. I will never use a Pleak product again in the future.
