    Upgrade Php from 5.1.17 in plesk 8.3

    I have tried upgrading to 5.3 but it stopped plesk from loading. I had to restore plesk by autoinstaller script. Then installed 5.2.17 from another source. Then the pecl zip installation succeded. What do you actually want? Installing pecl? or backup/restore plesk?

    I need to use Pecl zip for php. My plesk 8.3s running php version is 5.1.17. I need to upgrade that. But I am not sure if php 5.3 can be compatible with my site. How can I solve this? Can I have backup of plesk first? how is that possible. I have tried to build zip from source. But it failed...
