I had disabled a number of PHP functions on the advice of a security tutorial and it turns out that the following functions are necessary to create a WebP version of the image: passthru shell_exec system proc_open After I enabled these features again, it worked without any problems.

I have installed the WordPress WP-Optimize plugin but when I check the option "Create WebP version of image" I get the following error: Required WebP shell functions are not available on server Can anyone tell me what this error message means and how I can resolve it?

I have a number of domains with the same provider and they also have the same problem. I have moved the domain names to another provider and hopefully I will not have any more problems once the transfers are complete. I'll keep you informed. So far thank you for your support.

I cannot select the "@" and if I leave out example.com it will be there again after saving the changes. So I have now set the MX record as in the image below, but I fear that this will not work. I removed the "A" record as above in the second image.
