I am still encountering the same error. I originally reported this issue on 11 November 2024, and to date, no resolution has been provided. I am extremely disappointed with Plesk's handling of this matter—this does not reflect well on the platform.

I've received a response from Microsoft, and predictably, they've stated it's a third-party issue. They suggest that Plesk's backup team should look into it.
I’ve contacted Microsoft and will share any findings once I hear back. As a side note, this same behaviour is occurring across all my separate Plesk accounts.
I too am looking for a way around this. I am setting up a staging environment for a WordPress multi-site using subdomains which requires wildcard SSL certification. Is there no other option for this?
Yes, it does make the update tool somewhat unusable when it doesn't detect updates. I'd like to use this as it saves time, but I'm more inclined to update the plugins manually from within the CMS. Please fix this.
Further to this post, I think the issue may be the KernelCare Extension on Plesk. The extension can't communicate with the CloudLinux on my server. I ran ssh compatibility checks as recommended on their website and all was OK (COMPATIBLE), but the actual KernelCare settings fail to load in...
