If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
Yes this will fix issue with backup but seems after this last update custom mysql limits directory and conf file from systemd is removed, and now default max_open_files limit value is set,at least in my case that is what happen. Can anyone else can confirm this?
I had similar problem with globalSign alpha ssl on windows phones but only in case when CRT and Key is instaled without CA-CRT...in most cases users just supply CRT and KEY without CA-crt.After Ca-crt is added issue is resolved.
Well there is nothing you can do with plesk...if it is VM than ask provider to provide you backup of whole VM...every provider who offer VPS have at least weekly backups sheduled....in case something brakes on their side...but they will probably charge for this..unless you have menged service....
If you use Apache fastCGI than you don't need to convert any rules ...first you need to make sure everything is working on Apache than you can convert and switch to Nginx. If you have problems with permalinks under Apache than you have to fix it first and make sure everything works under apache...
Mod rewrite is enabled/disabled on server level under tools & settings-->Apache web server BUT you have option to override the server-wide apache directives under domains--->Apache & Nginx ..you can add directives and it will override server settings for that domain
Go to domains than select domain you want to mange, than you'll see PHP settings icon..open it and under php settings you can select how you want serve files..Apache FMP,Nginx FPM,apache or nginx FastCgi..etc.If htaccess to nginx extension don't convert on auto pilot ...under domain in Apache &...
Switch back to apache ..than install htaccess to nginix auto converter from extension catalog....and than switch again to nginx..it should convert htaccess rules...
I just give you path as example..I don't know real path to your site...in WP Multi site admin interface,if I remeber corectly ,you have network settings tab and there you can find directory path and other settings, now if you want to manually map subdomain you just need to set wp multi site path...
Well in that case you'll have to map subdomains manually....you can activate hosting for subdomain and in root foldler set path to wordpress. For example if path to fr.domain.com is httpdocs/fr.domain.com than set it as root foldler of subdomain.
Now when you disable hosting for subdomain it will still point to plesk default page because that subdomain point to server IP.
Now when you create new site from wordpress I supose that site will be somewhere inside httpdocs/subdomain/ ..did you add new website from wordpress?
Well after you have created subdomain you can go and disable webhosting....under hosting settings-->Hosting type ..you can select without hosting...
this is solution if you don't want to have hosting interface at all..also you have option to change root directory if you need just to map...
Plesk stores all info about backups in xml file ..looks like backup_info_xxxxxxxx.xml ,if you open it you will find all info..among other fils included in package...but you will spot all files belong to same backup by number at the end ...ie ...156665656.tgz
