This is the response I received from Media Temple, it looks like we need to wait for an app update:

I'm having the exact same problem, upgraded to 1.2.0. It asked to install something on the server and now it no longer connects, showing an internal server error. I'm also on 11.0.9 Update #5 DV 4.0 hosted on Mediatemple
