I downloaded (wget) the one-click-installer and took a look to see how it validated the os.
It might be possible to just change the installer to set os_name to CentOS etc:- but I found the simplest way to install was to change...

CentOS Stream is a predecessor of RedHat, Centos 8 is downstream of RedHat.
That means updates coming from Fedora are applied pretty rapidly (sometimes daily) to to CentOS Stream.
Daily updates are difficult to manage with stability as something working one day, may work...
Having run a VM test of Rocky Linux Beta with Plesk installation (Had to fool installer that the OS was CentOS 8) I'm confident that it will be easy for Plesk to support Rocky Linux ?!
I really hope so as I have recently migrated my VPS to CentOS 8 with Plesk ... coming from a previous Webmin...
I recently started to transfer my vps to centos8 as there were a few issues with centos7 around mail, fail2ban and microsoft exchange supposedly solved by centos8.
And now I am hit with the *end of the road* for centos8 ... what we need is a stable linux and, as I use vps for self hosting/hobby...
