If you are still using CentOS 7.9, it's time to convert to Alma 8 with the free centos2alma tool by Plesk or Plesk Migrator. Please let us know your experiences or concerns in this thread: CentOS2Alma discussion
I think there is no solution. Plesk dictates here how we should use it, unfortunately. Correct me if i am wrong.
What I do:
I create the domain as a forwarding hosting. Then you will have the domain in the pulldown when adding email addresses.
I have just manually added my network IP-range to the allow-recursion section and restarted named: success.
Indeed, after altering the DNS Recursion settings in Plesk Panel, my setting is gone.
So no touching that button anymore.
Thanks.
Fixed my issue.
For obvious reasons I have set DNS Recursion to Localnets only.
However, I need to allow my network (different from the network of the Plesk server) to have recursion available.
Plesk Panel does not allow me to add my IP or IP-range.
How can I fix this permanently?
Dear marcbote,
The activation of the piped logs did not fix the problems (I have over 1300 domains on this particular server).
So I did the nickpick-solution.
That helped and I got the sites up again.
I also tested the igorx-solution. That worked too.
I read that nickpick switched...
Please stop the flaming in this forum. It's useless.
Turtle, I don't care if you think you advocated Plesk to move to RPM design or not. I think it is only in your head.
Now you also say that you figured out this solution?
Then why post here as "igorx" and later play advocate of the devil...
