    Thanks for this but that was already in the config :-( I think I may start again... is there a good guide anywhere to install the latest stable version of PHP and get it working in Plesk (Probably not using Fast CGI - as this is proving my achilles heel)?

    Is FastCGI supposed to be working when Plesk is first installed (out of the box), if it's an registered option? I have asked Heart internet for help (even paid them) but they have been useless!
