On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
Hi, thanks for these informations.
I have a question about our particular case :
We do not own our server Plesk licences directly, but the hosting company where we rent our servers does (OVH or Ionos).
In that case, is the ELS program compatible ? Is there a solution to opt-in or is it at the...
Hi,
Very interesting information,
Does it mean that by default Plesk still provides updates for these OSes ?
Or do we need to take some action or subscribe somewhere to enable it ?
(I've a doubt reading this : "so taking advantage of this offer will cost extra")
More informations seen on...
Yep i agree with that.
Needs and preferences are different beetween anyone and from a project to another.
We know that, and Acronis solution allows us to choose what and how we want (only changed files) to backup/exclude, as well as it allows us to launch pre/post backup commands like...
Interesting informations, even if i prefer managed services, i understand that simple FTP servers are not so time consuming to maintain.
It's just that a small amount of time is always more than no time at all ;)
To be honest it's pretty hard nowadays to find managed FTP backups services...
Hi,
Thank you for your replies.
I understand FTPs backup to a server that is not under my full control is not ideal, but it was also a choice.
I just want to rent a backup space, not to manage the FTP server (Monitoring, security updates, data replication, etc... All that stuff is handled by...
Hello,
Sorry, me again with same problems...
2 more servers updated to 18.0.37 (update 2), with backup failing the same way.
The only server left with 18.0.36 is backuping like a clockwork.
Still no solution on the Plesk Side ?
Hi,
I'm sorry to insist, but i have another server wich have been updated (to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.37 update 2) this time.
And backups are failing the same way as the others.
So to recap, 6VPS here, backuping to the same FTPs server :
- 3 updated to 18.0.37 (update 1 or 2) : backups are failing...
Thx for your reply, but as i mentioned it in my original message, i've already seen this info/post :
Unfortunately, i don't have access to the FTP server configuration, so i can't disable "ssl_reuse" option on it.
I'm wondering if it could exist a solution on Plesk side.
Hi,
I have 6 VPS running on Centos 7.9 with Plesk Obsidian.
Backups are configured the same way on all servers : everyday on an external FTPS server, passive mode enabled.
All was running fine so far, but 2 of the 6 VPS has been updated to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.37 (update 1).
Since then, i have...
Thanks a lot for your reply, it helped a lot !
The provider is Ovh not but Ionos, and after some search, they are effectively blocking outgoing port 25.
The only way to unlock is to call the support, what i've done.
Mail queue is now begining to be processed.
Thanks again.
Hi,
I have an issue with a new server (Plesk 18.0.34 fresh install on a Ubuntu 20.04 server) when i try to send mails via PHP (not via smtp).
I think it's not a problem related to PHP because emails are showing up on the mail queue.
As a result, mail queue is growing.... but 0 mail really sent...
Thanks for your help, i'm going to try.
But first, is there a risk to do any of these actions ?
(Disabling/re eanbling SElinux, Deleting sem file + restart psa service, or launch a plesk repair)
As i said i'm pretty beginner, servers are in production and i don't want to do something wrong...
Yes, no problem at all during updates, no error messages.
To be honest, all is working fine besides these notifications.
I don't even know if it's important or not...
To my understanding (i'm a bit beginner) it seems to have a link to log rotations.
So i suppose at worst case, they are not...
Here are the infos , but all seems to be ok :
And
I don't know if it could help, but i have 2 other VPS on 18.0.34 on Ubuntu 20.04, and they don't have the same issue.
I only recieve notifications for Centos 7 Servers.
Hi,
I have the following issue, with 3 different VPS since v18.0.34 update has been done.
All 3 VPS are on CentOS 7.9.2009 (Core).
Recieving 1 email "Anacron job 'cron.daily'" per server every night with these informations :
Is there something to do to fix it ?
Thanks in advance
