    Hi Igor, thank you for your fast feeback. But the solution above might be also fine, or does it not suit Plesk best practice? Is there any KB for best practice?

    Or is it the best to simply move the data to the new partition ? Does it need more then that? systemctl stop mysqld rsync -av /var/lib/mysql/ /ssd/mysql/ mv /var/lib/mysql /var/lib/mysql_backup Open /etc/my.cnf datadir=/home/mysql socket=/home/mysql/server.sock systemctl start mysqld

    Hello is there any way to create a databse server from inside plesk on different vdisk? For example if plesk is installed on hdd and i want to add another database server on a new vdisk which is fast due to ssd storage? The lastest docu does not show that this is possible in the meanwhile...
