He is probably just so excited, just like me and some others around here. For us, it feels like 'finally' and for you, it's probably 'super fast' after the initial release of CentOS 8.
Nonetheless, keep up the great work <3.
As some of you may know will Ubuntu 18.04 be released by the end of the month. Therefore my question is if anyone knows how long it will take Plesk to support Ubuntu 18.04. I've heard once before that this won't be the case until a new version of Plesk like 18.0.
Well, maybe there are not ‘many’ bugs, but still an important one, at least on my Debian 8 Server: Disk usage is ‘still’ not being displayed correctly.
The normal release tier is 'General Release'. If I am correct Plesk 17.8 should only be an Early Adopter Release, but when executing only 'sh plesk-installer' also gives you the option to install Plesk 17.8, so I don't really know...
If you want to be an early adopter, and want to deal with the courier installation error as shown in the comment above (even if you don't install courier), then yes, I guess. My honest opinion is to wait until they have 'fine tuned' the release.
Not all these commands work on Debian? I believe CentOS uses rpm packages. And as I said, the installation also fails on a clean server and a clean server shouldn’t have corrupted rpms.
Correct me if I understood something wrong.
Luckily my ISP is backing-up my VPS every 4 hours so I could restore :). Got an email from root that told me that the upgrade has been completed successfully. Didn't want to be at preview 11 but it's fine now I guess. Only new installation will fail. At least in my case.
