Forwarded to devs SSL It! TLS versions and ciphers by Mozilla v5 'intermediate' should support IE11 on Win7 or 8 - causes 'handshake_failure'

@IgorG Many thanks for your help. With TLS versions and ciphers by Mozilla set to v5.0 Intermediate, I have added that to panel.ini and reissued a cert using SSL It! with Let's Encrypt and SSL Labs returned A+ with: IE 11 / Win 7 R EC 256 (SHA256) TLS 1.2...

Forwarded to devs SSL It! TLS versions and ciphers by Mozilla v5 'intermediate' should support IE11 on Win7 or 8 - causes 'handshake_failure'

Please could you explain how I can do this in Plesk, assuming it's possible without the 2018 docker solution mentioned in that thread (which appears to be out-of-date with certbot's feature set now). I cannot see anywhere in SSL It! to choose an EC cert from Let's Encrypt. Do I need to amend...

Forwarded to devs SSL It! TLS versions and ciphers by Mozilla v5 'intermediate' should support IE11 on Win7 or 8 - causes 'handshake_failure'

Thanks, @IgorG. To quote JuergenAuer on that thread, "you have to use a client that allows creating EC certificates" - That suggests the Plesk / SSL It! UI does not allow creating EC certs. Any plans to support this? Or is it already possible to 'secure with a certificate with "key-algorithm"...

Resolved Can't add a database server from a Docker container

@campsjos Did you resolve this? I get the same error on one on my servers when trying to add a database from a docker container. I've changed the port, removed the container and associated mapped directories, removed and reinstalled docker, followed this article How to set the value of...

Resolved Intermittent cURL error 6 citing Let's Encrypt / Mozilla ciphers, server restart does not resolve

Hello all, I'm experiencing intermittent cURL errors, almost exclusively when Let's Encrypt tries to auto-renew a domain. This is one daily example by email: Could not obtain directory: cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: acme-v02.api.letsencrypt.org; Unknown error (see...

Input Git - support for deploying releases/tags

It would be helpful if the Git extension UI could deploy up to a certain release or tag. Perhaps a drop-down in "Change branch and path" that lists available tags. E.g. git checkout v1.2.3. I'm somewhat of a novice when it comes to Git, so I hope that makes sense.

Resolved SSL It! Mozilla TLS ciphers v5.0 Intermediate causes handshake_failure for IE 11 / Win 7, despite supporting it

@IgorG Thanks for bringing that thread to my attention. I will submit a report. I wondered if perhaps I'd missed that thread first time around, however I've just visited the forum home and clicked around and I cannot see that important thread - certainly there is no thread like that pinned in...

Resolved SSL It! Mozilla TLS ciphers v5.0 Intermediate causes handshake_failure for IE 11 / Win 7, despite supporting it

This is still a problem on Plesk Obsidian v18.0.33, SSL It! v1.7.7. TLS versions and ciphers by Mozilla Version 5 suggests it should also support IE 11 on newer versions of Windows, since intermediate/oldest_clients lists "IE 11 on Windows 7", however there is also a SSL Labs handshake_failure...

Resolved SSL It! Mozilla TLS ciphers v5.0 Intermediate causes handshake_failure for IE 11 / Win 7, despite supporting it

Thanks. Not yet. I keep checking the changelog but a fix is not mentioned. I have not retested this since my first report. This forum feels like an 'unofficial' space for reporting serious issues because many reports appear to go unanswered, but I don't know where else to report it other than here.

Resolved SSL It! Mozilla TLS ciphers v5.0 Intermediate causes handshake_failure for IE 11 / Win 7, despite supporting it

Hi, On Plesk Obsidian 18.0.30, after resynchronising "TLS versions and ciphers by Mozilla" in SSL It! 1.6.0 it finds version 5.0, subsequently SSL Labs reports "IE 11 / Win 7 R Server sent fatal alert: handshake_failure" for my websites. I replicated this on a second server with the same...

    Let's Encrypt extension

Good to see wildcard certificates now supported by the extension, thank you. 2.8.0 (28 May 2019) ACMEv2 is now used by default. It makes issuing wildcard certificates also available by default with no need to additionally configure the extension to support ACMEv2. In my scenario, it does...
