if you do a yum update afterwards yum removes mod_jk-ap20-1.2.15-42psa.cos5.build82070706.15.i586.rpm :( but you can install this rpm again after the yum update. It seems new yum updates don't remove the package

Installing Plesk 8.2 on CentOS5 gives the error that my system is too new and that I should add another repo to solve this. I did a yum update before installing Plesk 8.2. Can anyone confirm this problem? Or anyone knows how to add a new repo?

you better browse through this forum to see that rushing into a new release of plesk has never been a good idea. On the other hand we are also glad there are still people who want to install it right away in to their production... it is gives us an idea how much longer to wait ;)

3.1.9 is the latest. Check also the sa-update util to update your rules.

also install selinux-policy-targeted-sources and the installer works fine. You can also remove selinux-policy-targeted and run the installer, Plesk will install an older version for you, which you can update by yum

steve, your tool is also killing the Plesk Sitebuilder processes. Any workaround for that?

check ./var/log you will find some psa install logs

/var/log/ /usr/local/psa/var/log/

check the logfiles to see what package is blocking the installations (look for things that can't be resolved). Deinstall that package and run the installer again. Make also sure you have the latest version of the installer.

the download version contains a 1 domain, 1 user, 1 account license for testing purpurses. Contact swsoft for different licenses.

if you login to phpmyadmin through the plesk panel you will only see the dbases created for that domain throught the plesk panel. if you want to access all dbases you have to install a seperate version of phpmyadmin on your server and login with the plesk admin password.

run chkconfig --list crond and see if 3:on is there. If not, run: chkconfig --level 3 crond on
