• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

File not found after upgrade to Plesk 12

The issue here is a lingering sw-cp-server process. Doing service sw-cp-server restart gives: tail /var/log/sw-cp-server/error_log 2014/06/17 23:19:00 [emerg] 19516#0: bind() to [::]:8880 failed (98: Address already in use) 2014/06/17 23:19:00 [emerg] 19516#0: bind() to 0.0.0.0:8443...

Plesk 12 Web Admin Edition: Cannot create extra domain

Hi IgorG, I understand, but then how can I use all 10 domains provided in the license? I'd like to add a new domain in the existing subscription, but it just gives me a Permission Denied. I believe this is a bug in the logic.

Plesk 12 Web Admin Edition: Cannot create extra domain

The license says that it provides 10 domains on the License Management page. However, when I try to add a new domain, I get: Warning: Permission denied. When trying to add a domain from the command line, I get a warning that I can't add a new subscription (which is probably the way Web...

    Plesk 12.0 Preview

It is to be considered RTM. So feature freeze / complete, but has not yet been battle tested. Early adopters are the ones that really need the new features, or don't care for possible bugs. Plesk will only offer the upgrade if your Updates & Upgrades settings are set to "Early Adopter".

My other configs still have: ; extension_dir = "./" Which leads me to believe that PHP will use the relative path to the installation dir of that PHP version. So I suggest just commenting it out for now untill atomicturtle provides updated RPM's.

The correct ini's seem to be loaded. Can you do: grep '^extension_dir' /opt/atomic/atomic-php??/root/etc/php.ini I have not fully updated my PHP's but I also get: /opt/atomic/atomic-php56/root/etc/php.ini:extension_dir = "/usr/lib/php/modules" Which I don't believe to be...

    Plesk 12.0 Preview

Same thing here when installing OpenSUSE 13.1 in text mode (so no X11 or GNOME/KDE) and without swap. Logs @ http://multiupload.nl/RFTMBJF5FQ Didn't give me any issues like this when I installed OpenSUSE 13.1 with GNOME.

    Plesk 12.0 Preview

For fully updates OpenSUSE 13.1 and latest Plesk 12 preview from installer, I had to manually run: zypper install pam_pkcs11 Otherwise Plesk 12 installer would throw errors about missing common-auth-smartcard PAMServiceError: common-auth-smartcard Not sure why it would need this...

FasterCGI with HHVM any thoughts anyone?

I take it this is not for shared hosting? In other words, you have HHVM pools manually activated? I'm looking at using systemd and socket activation to dynamically spin up HHVM or PHP-FPM pools. Too bad CentOS only has systemd starting from CentOS 7. Right now, testing is being done with...

    Plesk 12.0 Preview

I suggested it a few months back. Guess I should've made it a feature request :) It's a nice to have, but not a game changer. Plesk 12 is already full of game changers right now. Posted it to UserVoice for Next Version...

The biggest "annoyance" is that after installing the atomic repo, a yum update will upgrade php to 5.4 and mysql to 5.5 These are quite intrusive changes. I decided to go with the; sed -i 's@enabled = 1@enabled = 0@g' /etc/yum.repos.d/atomic.repo yum clean all approach for now...

FIX: named fails to start with: zone xx.tld/IN: NS 'ns.xx.tld' has no address records

After migrating an old Plesk 8.6 to Plesk 11.5, I came across this annoying named limitation: zone xx.tld/IN: NS 'ns.xx.tld' has no address records (A or AAAA) zone xx.tld/IN: not loaded due to errors. _default/xx.tld/IN: bad zone...

Nice! Will try this once I have completed my tests with Plesk 12 / OpenSUSE 13.1 / systemd Trying to spawn PHP-FPM on demand with the powers of systemd Edit: Confirmed installable on CentOS 6.5 x64 / Plesk 12

I know about exclude, but I'd rather not have any packages like httpd or mysql updated from the Atomic repo. I like to have those from Base repository. Is there a whitelist approach that can be taken here? Instead of blacklist?
