Supported doesn't necessarily mean supported on all operating systems of course. I don't understand the logic either though. Only Plesk 10 is supported on CentOS 6, while both Plesk 9 and Plesk 10 are supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (which is binary compatible with CentOS 6).

I don't think you'll need to do anything special. Just make sure your server has a Java runtime installed and you should be able to run the application. Plesk doesn't have anything to do with that really.

Plesk does not distribute its own Tomcat package as far as I know. Your OS (el6 indicates RHEL/CentOS 6) distributes Tomcat 6. If you need Tomcat 5.5 instead, you'll need to perform the downgrade yourself. I don't know if anyone provides a ready-to-go RPM package for Tomcat 5.5 for EL6.
