plesk 12.5 had same problem tried solution above but pci_compiance_resolver was outputing help so I had to apply this fix first https://kb.plesk.com/en/127568 and then above solution worked thanks Nikolay.

@IgorG thanks for the suggestion it did not help though the mysql upgrade did not find anything to fix and the plesk installer came up with same output it seems attaching just in case anymore ideas ?

I am on CENTOS 6.8 and have upgraded to mysql 5.6 mysql -V gives mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.7.16, for Linux (x86_64) using EditLine wrapper and tried to upgrade using the web tool and later on using the plesk installer attaching the log that the plesk installer produced
