• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • Our UX team believes in the in the power of direct feedback and would like to invite you to participate in interviews, tests, and surveys.
To stay in the loop and never miss an opportunity to share your thoughts, please subscribe to our UX research program. If you were previously part of the Plesk UX research program, please re-subscribe to continue receiving our invitations.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Question Outgoing mail control : Manage rejected messages ?

@Pascal_Netenvie You can find a log about those rejected message in /var/log/maillog or the specific mail log of your operation system. Search for REJECT message as outgoing mail rate limits are exceeded . The extra information provided by from= and to= can help to identify the root cause...

Question How is Spamcop DNSBL doing these days?

I can recommend it. We have been using b.barracudacentral.org and bl.spamcop.net for our clients for many years now without major problems.

Input Enormous price increases yet again for 2025

A number of services have increased by more than 40% for us in just one year—for instance, our Adobe or Codeium licenses. I view this in a positive light: new players will enter the market, driving innovation, and it also prompts us to ask whether there might be better, more cost-effective...

Input Enormous price increases yet again for 2025

@HHawk Based on your screenshots, you had approximately 30 support requests in the last 12 months and many more before. This is exactly the type of use case for which the direct Plesk licenses without a reseller is priced. If you compare the hourly rate of a skilled technician handling such...

Input Enormous price increases yet again for 2025

 That’s an interesting perspective! Linux and many hosting panels are open source, their use in critical infrastructure is widespread and proven. Linux itself powers a significant portion of global servers, cloud services, and even supercomputers, largely due to its stability...

Forwarded to devs Disabled PHP "Hosting performance settings management" can be bypassed by using .user.ini or ini_set()

Is there any ETA from the Plesk team for this bug? We are having more and more trouble with clients that bypass these settings. Not only via PHP-FPM but also by cronjobs or command line scripts. Some servers even got unstable when the well-known memory_limit=-1 is used. Right now I am looking at...

Input Enormous price increases yet again for 2025

We are also a Hetzner client, and we are not pleased that we are now forced to order directly from Plesk, as we do not need the additional support included in their direct pricing model. Currently, we hold numerous licenses for the Web PRO Edition at a price of €11.66 per month. Going forward...

Resolved Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - New Accounts tab - JS error showing blank page

@Sebahat.hadzhi Local misconfiguration? Actually, this is a bug that can be reproduced quite easily: 1. Add a subscription to a customer. 2. Create a new user account under the customer that only has access to the newly created subscription. 3. Delete the newly created subscription. 4. Open...

Issue DNS requests are denied (allow-query-cache did not match) after upgrading from Debian 10 to 12

I did not file a bug report because we later discovered that we had accidentally updated the configuration file, /etc/default/named , with the default Debian version during the upgrade process when prompted. Therefore, the fault was on our end. However, perhaps Plesk could include a check for...

Resolved Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - New Accounts tab - JS error showing blank page

We dug deeper and were able to find the root cause of the issue. Even though the Plesk repair tool for the server does not show any problems with the Plesk database, there is one problematic user on the server who caused the issue. First of all, this user has a value of -1 for...

Resolved Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - New Accounts tab - JS error showing blank page

@Sebahat.hadzhi We did investigate the problem further. The problematic request is: Normally it gives back all user. But on the problematic server it redirects back to the dashboard. This causes the delay of several seconds. In our case the error message on the dashboard is: Error: Can not...

Resolved Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) - New Accounts tab - JS error showing blank page

We can also confirm the bug. The issue seems to be related to the number of accounts. One of our servers, with 157 accounts, works like a charm. Another one, with 464 accounts, triggers the mentioned error. I think @Alban Staehli has a similar number of accounts, as we also experience a 2-3...

Question How to install PHP 5.6.40 on Plesk 18.0.58 and Debian 12.4?

@alb_cg As long as no domain is using the new PHP shared FPM handler, it will show "Not configured" under "Tools & Settings -> Services." This is completely fine. Please provide a screenshot of "Tools & Settings -> PHP Settings" and another screenshot of "Tools & Settings -> PHP Settings ->...

Resolved Email encoding after upgrade to 18.0.65

Yes, maybe a bit harsh, but Plesk is ignoring the community’s desire for a more stable update management. There are already several threads about this. The hosting business needs stability first, stability second, and stability third. Currently, Plesk does not have a stable release line that...

Input Plesk Obsidian 18.0.59 - stable enough for live deployment?

Plesk Obsidian 18.0.65 #0 Definitely not stable if you are using the mail server and want to avoid a service request nightmare from your clients. See: Email encoding after upgrade to 18.0.65

Resolved Email encoding after upgrade to 18.0.65

This bug also indicates that Plesk Obsidian does not appear to be the server admin panel of choice for Plesk’s own team when managing their services. Otherwise, this bug would have been identified by Plesk immediately, rather than by its users. It’s disappointing to see.
