Looking here I am not seeing the option to switch to power user view
https://support.plesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/12377771356183-Difference-between-Power-User-View-and-Service-Provider-View-in-Plesk
ok, checked and I am in power user view already, however I cannot see at least 2 different...
After upgrading from 18.0.59 to 18.0.60 I cannot see server settings. It is as if I am locked into a subscription even as the admin user.
If i go to config check under mail I can see all the domains?
Just to follow up on this the issue I was having is that python app expecting OpenSSL 1.1 to be installed. I was able to get around this by installing OpenSSL 1.1 e.g. yum install openssl11 openssl11-devel and then compile python to point at this version when compiling. I was then able to run...
Ok < i have found an issue in Drupal that looks like it could be similar
e.g. index.php sometimes showing, and favicon displaying inconsitently when on drupal 10.1.x when using on Plesk Obsidian
I would like to use python 3 script (3.8 or later) that also has requirement for OpenSSL 1.1 or later. What are my options along side running plesk Version 18.0.59 Update #2, last updated on Mar 5, 2024 12:06 PM?
Version 18.0.57 Update #5, last updated on Dec 21, 2023 03:05 AM
AWstats does seem to be working now, albeit with a bit of delay which I think is normal as this is probably on a 24hr cron job. Sorry false negative.
Not sure there was the same delay before forcing localhost?
Also I had another...
With the following
<?php
var_dump($_SERVER["SERVER_ADDR"]);
var_dump($_SERVER["REMOTE_ADDR"]);
var_dump($_SERVER["HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR"]);
var_dump($_SERVER["HTTP_X_REAL_IP"]);
?>
When set to true I am getting:
string(9) "127.0.0.1" string(12) "81.xx.146.69" NULL string(12) "81.99.146.69"...
Thanks
So in /etc/httpd/conf/plesk.conf.d/server.conf I have:
<IfModule mod_remoteip.c>
RemoteIPInternalProxy 127.0.0.1
RemoteIPHeader X-Forwarded-For
</IfModule>
Yeah sorry my bad.
I think it just a delay after running plesk sbin statistics --calculate-all
Stats do appear to be there.
That said I also have metrics on the site and if nginx is serving the page without touching apache then it could also affect impressions on those pages. Not sure.
Ok I realise now that the recommended fix also has undesirable consequences such as breaking awstats.
It also makes me wonder about the accuracy of the awstats and other metrics when using a reverse proxy.
If I am reading this correctly it seems Plesk have changed the default in 18.0.56 and have changed again in 18.0.56.3. Not sure if anything else has changed?
The fix to change the default seems to have undesirable consequences either way.
How does this make sense?
This answer seems contradictory as well?
What am I missing?
You state that exposing ports 7080 and 7081 improves security, but at the same time state that this feature was introduced to make these ports no longer available to improve the security of the server...
