• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

HI

When I configure Outlook I'm having problem sending emails. Receivin is ok.

Going by this previous post I found I think there is someway of amending this but I think that this post was referring to an earlier version of Plesk. http://forum.swsoft.com/showthread.php?t=16607

Any ideas how to rectify this on Plesk 8.4.0 for Windows?

Thanks,

smtp auth

The error occurs when smtp authentication is not enabled in your mail client; in your case outlook.

Make sure that "outgoing server requires authentication" checkbox is selected and also
give a valid email address and password for authentication.

If it doesn't work after having these options enabled, server side settings has to be checked.
