7.5.4 update knocks out apache

hello anyone
My plesk 7.5.3 update to 7.5.4 kocked out apache for domains. No websites available either php or html so it is more than just ioncube or zend issue etc. Mail is ok, Plesk panel login is ok.
Has anyone experienced same and had success locating and fixing this issue.
If so, it would be very much appreciated to receive some helpful replies.

check your apache error_log to see what is going on

Check your /etc/php.ini and then let us know if you are running coldfusion on this server?
