• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

7.5 upgrade 8.1

You can use Plesk autoinstaller for this operation. Autoinstaller can be found on SWsoft's site here: http://www.swsoft.com/en/download/plesk8/
Make sure to select autoinstaller for appropriate OS. Just run autoinstaller and follow next steps. It is suggested to upgrade Plesk first to version 8.0.1 and after that to version 8.1.0. Before Plesk upgrade it is also suggested to create full Plesk backup.

Hi,

I also want to upgrade Plesk 7.5.4 to 8.1.

Do you still recommend to upgrade to Plesk 8.0 before upgrading to 8.1?

Thanks.

You can accomplish upgrade straight to 8.1 version but from my experience I can say that it's better to do upgrade procedure step by step. First of all make upgrade to 8.0.1 version and then to 8.1.0. Don't forget to make a full backup before upgrading the Plesk, just in case.
