• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
    With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.

Issue Any known issues | Plesk Email Security with Plesk Premium Email

karam

Basic Pleskian
As soon as I installed Plesk Email Security.. it added to panel.ini the following :
[mail]
autoconfig.enabled = 0

It disabled the option for autodiscover in mail settings in Plesk.

Now, if I made that forcefully = 1 .. the autodiscover feature re-appear, but if I activated and tested it.. the file autodiscover.xml is actually created.. but if I tried opening it in browser ;
xxxx.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml it gives me error 400

I tested with Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer
It gave the following :

Code:
The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer is attempting to retrieve an XML Autodiscover response from URL https://<hiddenforprivacy>.com:443/Autodiscover/Autodiscover.xml for user test@<hiddenforprivacy>.com.
The Microsoft Connectivity Analyzer failed to obtain an Autodiscover XML response.

The Response element in the payload was null.

The server is new and clean. Plesk in it's latest version.
I think Plesk Email Security did something in there.. why doesn't it like the Autodisover to be on ? .. the problem is now even if I disabled Plesk Email Security extension.. still the autodiscover returns the same results.

Any advises ? Thank you.

Do you have Plesk Premium Mail by Kolab installed?
If yes then it is expected as Plesk Premium Mail used its own auto discovery so it disables the Plesk one

Thanks for response @Arashi Yes I do have Plesk Premiumm Mail.
So, autodiscovery.xml is expected to not functioning at all ? if I stopped using Plesk Premium Email and Plesk Mail Security.. Will it be back?

Plesk Mail Security does not affect it so u can keep it
If you dont need and remove the Plesk Premium Email then yes Plesk Autodiscovery should work again normally

Hi there, sorry for reopening this issue, but I have uninstalled Plesk Premium Email, and still the same results.
Any advises ? am afraid Premium Email did something inside and It needs manual reversing.

Edit : I had to re-install Plesk Premium, lots of inconsistencies happened after uninstalling it. I'll live with this in the current server.
