• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
    If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Hello,

Via the control panel (Plesk 8.6 for Linux on Ubuntu 8.04) trying to install a web application (PHPbb3) gives the following error after all the configuration questions have been answered and clicking on Install.

Warning: Site application installation failed: Filesystem error: boost::filesystem::remove
Filesystem error: boost::filesystem::remove

Anyone seen this problem before? Users quota is fine for the site.

Thanks,
jacko

I guess I should have mentioned, it is for within a subdomain.

It is known bug fixed in 9.x Plesk version. As possible workaround for 8.6 version - installation application from Aps catalog.

Thanks for the quick reply. Not keen on going to Plesk 9 to find and troubleshoot new bugs.

Where is the Aps catalog? (Not app vault?)

Thanks,
jacko
