I have just spent 5 hours repairing all the damage that the Plesk upgrade has done to the Windows permissions and its doesn' appear that I am the only one.

I have managed to sort out most things except ASP.NET permissions are a mystery. The problem seems to be with the Termporary Files folder for .NET. I have set the folder to allow Everyone full access but that doesn't help.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have reinstalled .NET Framework 2 and 1.1 but no luck.

Kindly list here what you have done so far to fix the issues caused by the upgrade...

I had to get SWsoft involved in the end because it was just one thing after the other. Had to reinstall the following:

- IIS
- .NET 1.1
- .NET 2.0
- Plesk 7.6.1

I won't be doing any futher SWSoft upgrades in a hurry. From what I understand from SWSoft support this problem was a regular occurrance.
