• Please be aware: Kaspersky Anti-Virus has been deprecated
With the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.64, "Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Servers" will be automatically removed from the servers it is installed on. We recommend that you migrate to Sophos Anti-Virus for Servers.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.
  • We’re working on enhancing the Monitoring feature in Plesk, and we could really use your expertise! If you’re open to sharing your experiences with server and website monitoring or providing feedback, we’d love to have a one-hour online meeting with you.

assign client account templates to existing clients

Hi,
i just like to know, if there ist a way to assign client account templates to existing clients. Also I found no way to see which template is assigned (or was used for creating) a client account...

Client's template can be used only for clients creating and can't be applied to already existing clients. Really, if you enable mysql logging in my.cnf and analyse logs you see that id of template used only during client creating and then replaced with NULL in clients table.

Uhhh... I think this is an essential feature for easy clients-handling... (Thought this must have been a feature of Plesk above vers. "2" or so...)
So there is no way to easily upgrade existing clients to "a bigger (or another) (template based-)Hosting-package" ?

For this purpose register your Plesk server in one of Parallels Automation products like PBAS and you will be able to use hosting plans, etc. for Plesk.
You can change hosting settings for Plesk client directly via Plesk interface.
