• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Backup location change

CasperD

New Pleskian
Dear Sir/madam,

We had some storage issues and wanted to change the location.

Used the PLESK reconfigurator to change the mailbox and domein backup locations.
First I changed the e-mail location to "D:\PLESK\Mail"
Then I wanted to change the backup location from "D:\PLESK" to "D:\PLESK\Domains"

But because the reconfigurator gave an error I made another dir "D:\Plesk domains temporary"

When that action was completed. The reconfigurator deleted the whole "D:\PLESK\*" location.
All the e-mail and other backups located in that single directory is gone!!!

Am I doing something wrong or is this a huge flaw in PLESK?

If this action was successfully completed, do you have all content in new location "D:\Plesk domains temporary" ?

All the content of the domain backup is in the new location.

But because the mailboxes were one level down. They were deleted in the process.
