  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Bandwidth restriction by IP

Im currently Plesk 9.5 on windows server 2008.

I know you can bandwidth limit users but can you limit the whole ip on the box.

The reason for this is I have a server dedicated to downloads of our software and online hazard perception videos, now i want to limit the total amount of bandwith to 4mbps so the box will only ever take 4mbps from our bandwith pool so as to not interfeer with any other domains on our other boxes.

Any help would be great, dont really want to go down the route of installing a seperate fibre circute just for this one box/ip.

regards

Mike

Plesk hasn't such functionality. I think that you can use only third-party solutions for this purpose.
