Dear All
I am stuck at bind dns.
I have a online website www.xyz.com
i have local server server.xyz.com
i want my clients to connect to my server using server.xyz.com and also access some websites using my Bind DNS.
My configuration is
DNS server IP: 192.168.1.1,
server.xyz.com 192.168.1.10

1. named.conf

zone "youtube.com." {
type forward;
forwarders {
1.1.1.1;
8.8.8.8;
};
};

zone server.xyz.com." {
type master;
file "/etc/bind/localserver.local";
};

2. named.conf.options

options {
directory "/var/cache/bind";
recursion yes;
forwarders {
95.24.66.12; (This is my blocker dns)
};
dnssec-enable yes;
dnssec-validation auto;
allow-recursion { any; };
auth-nxdomain no; # conform to RFC1035
listen-on-v6 { any; };
};

3. /etc/bind/localserver.local

;
; BIND data file for local loopback interface
;
$TTL 604800
@ IN SOA dns. (
2 ; Serial
604800 ; Refresh
86400 ; Retry
2419200 ; Expire
604800 ) ; Negative Cache TTL
;
@ IN NS dns.
@ IN A 192.168.1.1
server.xyz.com IN A 192.168.1.10
@ IN AAAA ::1
