Blacklist doesn't work in spam assassin

I blacklisted an email address for a client a few weeks ago. On the 26th she received 2 emails from the blacklisted email account. I've looked in the logs and it doesn't say anything about being blacklisted or blocked. What am I missing?

Hello All,

I have a customer who has been getting spam after they have added these e-mail addresses to the blacklist from the control panel. I have also updated the spamassassin rules and nothing changes. Seems like more of the same spam comes in when added. Has anyone else experienced this? If so what did you do to mitigate this. I have read some of the other forums and I think spamdyke is an option?
