  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

can't enable mysqli extension through php.ini

Greetings,

i need to enable the mysqli extension in plesk 7.6.1; i added the line "extension=php_mysqli.dll" in the 3 php.ini files that i found in my hdd

c:\windows\php.ini
c:\swsoft\plesk\admin\php.ini
c:\swsoft\plesk\...\horde\php.ini

after that i rebooted the server, but the system ignores my modification, and mysqli doesn't work :(

i think that the 3 php.ini that i found are "false" php.ini, they are not the php.ini that iis uses, because if i remove them and restart iis, php just keep working (!) but phpinfo() reports some nonsenses like:

Configuration File (php.ini) Path C:\WINDOWS
extension_dir c:\php4 c:\php4

php is running as isapi extension.

what should i do?

thanks!
