• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

I used to have Plesk 8.1, then stupid me decided to upgrade to 8.3 via 8.2.1. Now, I can't send any email. I can get mail to the same server though, ie If the server is foo.com, [email protected] and send mail to [email protected]

This is the message I get when I tail the maillog

Dec 31 11:53:26 foo qmail-remote-handlers[28730]: [email protected]
Dec 31 11:53:26 foo qmail-remote-handlers[28730]: [email protected]
Dec 31 11:53:26 foo qmail: 1199120006.599231 delivery 5: deferral: qmail-remote_produced_no_output./
Dec 31 11:53:26 foo qmail: 1199120006.599272 status: local 0/10 remote 0/20
Dec 31 11:53:27 foo qmail-queue[28732]: mail: all addresses are uncheckable - need to skip scanning (by deny mode)

I've disabled the firewall (psa-firewall) and also iptables. I changed the whitelist in the mail to 127.0.0.1/32 from 127.0.0.1/8. Unfortunalty, now I cannot chnage it back to 127.0.0.1/8.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
bob

I replaced the qmail-remote that plesk ships with, (late last nite) , with the original qmail-remote app, and everything seems to working now!

Doesn't plesk test this stuff before selling it!!

thanks for the link!
