• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hey,

Firstly, im new here, but i did a search and could find anything...

So can you guys help out please?

I have one VPS system on Plesk 7.5.4 and one new VPS on Plesk 8.0.1

Can I do anything to copy all of the data and domain info from 7.5.4 and insert it all into 8.0.1?

I have root access on both servers, but dont know much about linux, however i am prepared to learn :)

I am closing the VPS on 7.5.4 and using the new one, then i will be buying a windows server too, but thats not for here and now lol..

Any advice tips (or even a simple no it cant be done...)

Thank you in advance

Drew

Hello,

I suggest you to upgrade your VPS system on Plesk 7.5.4 to 8.0.1 and make a backup / restore to the new one after.

Hi,

Thanks for the info, have now sorted it..

I actually have two servers at the same time, so i did a migrate.. Went well and no issues found!
