  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question Create a new domain on the same server

llucas

Basic Pleskian
Server operating system version
Debian 11.11
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.67 Update #1
Hello

I don't have much experience with PLESK, my work asks me to create a new domain on my machine, everything seems easy.

I can't get to the site, I want to call it www.efcarf.org, I have the name purchased in Godaddy and I have the DNS in Cloudflate.

How do I proceed to create/configure the new domain?

On the server I have another main domain, this would be the second domain I create on the machine. The name www.efcarf.org/wp-login.php doesn't resolve well, it always gives me an error.

I'm sure I'm not doing something right, can you help me?

Thanks!! and greetings,
Luis

Hi ILucas,

I checked your domain name server. I saw that your DNS server is working on CloudFlare. However, it seems that DNS records are not entered in CloudFlare services. For example, A Record: 187.57.xx.xx. You need to enter your server's IP information in this A record.

Let me tell you a method that will make this registration process even easier. There should be a plugin called "Import Export DNS" in Plesk plugins. After installing it, it is enough to select Domain Name > DNS Management > Export DNS and then select and import this file with "Import DNS" in the Cloudflare DNS panel. In this way, not only the A Record but also e-mail records such as MX will come.

In addition, you can log in to your server panel with: https://youripaddress:8880.

Have a nice day
