different entry folder?

hi,
my website is hosted with Plesk 8.3 on Linux.

I have a vBulletin forum running in a subfolder called /forum

For the time being, my /httpdocs/index.html contains a redirection to the /forum folder.
I wonder whether there is a way to skip this and when someone is typing www.mysite.com have him go directly to www.mysite.com/forum without redirecting...
