Issue domain 1 cannot email domain2 if domain is hosted on google or microsoft / zoho

kokobine

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
alma 8.10
Plesk version and microupdate number
Plesk Obsidian 18.0.66 Update #1 Web Pro Edition
this is a very serious problem and I believe it will become more of a problem as people little by little migrate mail on major mail providers.
one domain cannot send to another hosted on the same server if the second domain is hosted on google meaning mx records point somewhere else.
this means that my clients cannot communicate with each other ... problem is appearing more because many clients own 2 or ever 3 domains .. one major and one lets say for eshop
i cant believe that after so many years Plesk didn't think of that .... they only think to disable free email antivirus scanner to replace with payment ...
i believe a simple solution to check mx record first is very easy to implement ...

please find a solution .... this is major issue

Hi,

By default, the mail service used by Plesk will try to deliver locally before performing MX lookups. If all 3 websites are created in Plesk and have the mail service enabled, there won't be any DNS lookups to determine MX records.

This issue is addressed by setting the mail service for a domain that uses external MX services to disable incoming or disable altogether from the website mail settings.

i can confirm that only with disabled service this works .... if i just disable incoming the behavior remains the same. point is that scripts in the website cannot use sendmail or something similar now.
